Martucci Gallery
Solo Exhibiting at The Martucci Gallery in Irvington, New York this November and December 2026.
Nature’s Narrative
Much like the books in the Irvington Library, each artwork in Dawn Leone’s exhibition, Nature’s Narrative, has a story to tell. Through the visual language of printmaking and painting, the exhibition takes viewers on a journey through the natural world and its four seasons.
Upon entering the Martucci Gallery, spring botanicals and summer Oceanscapes offer a colorful greeting. The journey then turns toward winter, where cool blues, greens, and purples flow through glacier abstractions and expansive landscapes.
The IceScape Series was inspired by Dawn’s firsthand observations of Iceland’s breathtaking landscape and her subsequent travels to glaciers throughout North America and the Alps. Layers of color and form build upon one another, creating optical relationships that suggest imagery, mood, depth, and space. Like chapters in a story, these works reflect the beauty, mystery, and continual transformation of the natural world.
The final chapter of Nature’s Narrative presents autumn-inspired works, including the Mint Series. This suite of artworks explores the interaction of color through a hand-mixed minty teal—a vibrant, almost neon hue that accentuates nature-inspired subjects.
The exhibition includes approximately 20 original artworks, all of which are available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Irvington Library’s and Martucci Gallery. Art and images are copyright protected.
